Governing Body

The Governing Body of the College is the apex body entrusted with the governance in accordance with the statutes of the Vidyasagar University and the directives of the State Government. President, Secretary, Teachers' representative and the representative of non-teaching staff, student's representative, University’s representatives, Nominee of the Dept of Higher Education, Govt of WB and  Nominee of the Council of Higher Education, Govt of WB are well represented in the Governing Body which meets at regular intervals and also as occasion requires. It looks into the general affairs of the College, disciplinary matters, and takes step for its further development, and tries to lead the College forward even under heaviest limitations.
