About the Department

Chemistry department of Silda Chandrasekhar offers General course in CBCS System. The department has one separated laboratory for general practical classesand two class room for theory classes. Teaching method adopted to improve student learning are (i) Lecture method (ii) Practical classes (iii) Technology aided teaching and (iv) Special classes. The department does not have a separate library, but the specimen copies provided by the publishers are preserved in the department for the use of student & teachers. Interested students participate in institutional social responsibility programme through NSS units of the college.
